Working principle of RFID hotel room card (popular complete version)The RFID hotel card is a passive high-frequency induction card without a battery, with a universal frequency of 13.56MHz, powered by electromagnetic induction from the door lock reader and wireless communication.
PVC card body: ordinary card on the outside
Copper coil antenna: wound in a circular shape, used to receive electromagnetic waves and induce electricity generation
RFID chip: stores encrypted information (room number, check-in time, door opening permission, elevator permission, etc.)
Place the room card near the lock card swiping area, and the card reader continuously emits 13.56MHz high-frequency electromagnetic waves. The coil inside the card induces current, instantly supplying power to the chip.
Data encryption interaction
After the chip is powered on, it wirelessly sends the internally encrypted permission data back to the door lock card reader.

Correct verification → The door lock motor starts, emits a prompt sound, and opens the door;

Principle of front-end card issuance/cancellation
The front-end card dispenser is also a 13.56MHz reader/writer, which can write room numbers, time limits, and permissions into the chip;
When checking out, simply clear or cancel the permissions, and the card will immediately become invalid, making it unusable even if someone finds it.
